A number of Catholic organizations are speaking out in defense of Pope Leo XIV, as President Donald Trump doubled down on his harsh criticism of the pope.
“Today your feet are standing on the soil of Bamenda that has drunk the blood of many of our children,” Archbishop Andrew Nkea of Bamenda told the pope.
